​The root of creating effective visual communication comes from empathy and listening first. Then strategically utilizing that information to elevate it into a visual story that reflects the company’s mission and goals while reinforcing what their audience is tuned into. 

​What I love about marketing campaigns and commercial design is the opportunity to provide visual inspirations that align with the audience and the client's goals. While being able to do that within branding parameters, deadlines, and budgets that produce results.

Branding and identity for KUDO, an SaaS multilingual meeting platform and one of TIME magazine’s picks for the top 100 inventions of 2021.

As a small startup with a tight marketing budget, KUDO needed a bare-bones branding identity to get launched. After discussions, researching, and concepting, I came up with 3 winning logo identity concepts. They unanimously picked this solution as the favorite which was inspired by world flags and the intersection of cultures communicating through technology.

Outside-The-Box Marketing Campaign "Slam Poetry for Why Audio Matters"

Serving as the Creative Manager for Media Vision, we embarked on a bold “outside the box” slam poetry B2B marketing campaign to bring attention to the importance AND emotional aspect of “Why does audio matter?”.

These four incredibly talented slam poets were literally hand-picked to participate in our contest from the well-known Nuyorican cafe in New York’s lower East Side. Each artist had complete freedom to write their own spoken word interpretation of why audio matters, expressing soulful insights on the value of audio in shaping human life and experience.

Because of our contest strategy, each participant proactively utilized their own social media to drive traffic and views to their performance video where they could gain votes.

It was an honor to be the campaign Creative Director which also entailed directing, filming and editing the videos, executing all campaign graphics, eblasts, photo shoots, and the YouTube/social media deployment. 

Social media digital graphics & video for the Instagram launch of a 320 N. Sangamon, a Tishman Speyer  state-of-the-art Chicago workplace destination. Audience: High-tech and leading-edge companies looking to scale up their environment for the next generation of thinkers, doers, and difference-makers.

This was a personal project during the pandemic lockdown to use the platform for live-streaming my art process. It was a blast designing the panels with funky hand-lettering and creating the "starting soon" video! Video gear setup included 3 cameras through OBS software and the Elgato Stream Deck, a directional shotgun mic, green-screen effects, and curated lighting systems.

Marketing campaign for Matrix Design Group's 10th anniversary. Matrix is a nationally recognized planning, engineering, and environmental consulting firm. The integrated campaign included portrait photography of the company's leadership team and refreshed marketing collaterals across digital, print, and full video production of 4 client testimonials.

Complete rebranding and logo identity makeover including creative direction, marketing strategies, and team collaboration with Copilot Creative for EduKit, providing online prepackaged school supply kits to save time and money for families.

Our rebranding of EduKit included an updated logo, new website, a custom-configured mailer with promotional code, custom vector illustrations, product photography, and trade show event display with strategic cost-conscious budgeting to allow for incremental collateral development.

Result: EduKit tripled their customer base immediately after launching the new branding at its yearly industry trade show.

Product photography of over 800 audio/video product images for Liberty AV Solutions’ website overhaul and company-wide branding refresh. 

Project scope also included leading full 360 degree marketing campaigns across all marketing collaterals in print and digital including eblast newsletters, a 254+ page catalog, social media and digital graphics, brochures, trade show booth large-scale graphics, digital signage, video production, website imagery, sell sheets, sales presentations, and swag.

​One of the challenges was how to showcase the products to stand out from the competition. Previously, most product photos were shot in low resolution on a flat blue cloth with no professional lighting. Small, technical CAD drawings were used to show the cable construction.
 

To show off the true beauty of their products and cables, I came up with the idea of re-shooting the products in superb detail and at dynamic angles. This was accomplished with my fully-equipped professional photo studio and included clipping, compositing, retouching, and exporting for both print and digital applications.

Result: The high-end product photography with the new website and marketing campaign increased online sales by 425% just within the first 3 months. It also set a new standard of high-end product photography for the pro A/V industry.

T-shirt designs for the Davis Polk LLP band's participation in the global "LAW ROCKS" annual charity music event at Gramercy Theatre in New York City. It's always an honor to be a part of their "The Objections" band and raise money for our local charity Advocates for Children of New York. 

In 2022 we took first place in the judge's choice award and tied for overall first place! Having the opportunity to play congas on stage with an amazing group of musicians AND design our t-shirts is a total fix for combining design with music, and for a great cause!
